ATHENS, GA (June 17, 2026) – Round One results of the 54th Southern Junior Championship of the Southern Golf Association hosted by University Golf Course in Athens, GA on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

After the first round, Neil Jolly of India holds the solo round one lead, firing eight birdies to finish the day with an opening round score of 8-under 62.
The Charleston, West Virginia native, Tommy Evans, holds solo second place with a score of six-under 64.
Three players stand T3 each posting four-under 66 for round one:
- Drew Mercer of Cramerton, NC
- Sam Terry of Thomasville, NC
- Brantley Moore of Memphis, TN
Six players sit 3-shot back at T6 all finishing the first round at three-under 67.
