ATHENS, GA (June 17, 2026) – Partial Round Two results of the 54th Southern Junior Championship of the Southern Golf Association hosted by University Golf Course in Athens, GA on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

After a 3 hour-delay this afternoon due to severe weather in the area, Round Two of the 54th Southern Junior Championship was suspended at 2:01 p.m., leaving 98 players left to complete Round 2 in the morning.
After weighing all factors, the Southern Junior has been shortened to a 36-hole event. The Round Two afternoon wave will resume at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning off of the #1 and #10 tees.
Neil Jolly of India remains at the top of the leaderboard at eight-under prior to his second round start.
Tommy Evans of Charleston, West Virginia sits in solo second at six-under through two holes of his second round.
Charles David Beeson of Roswell, Georgia sits in third at five-under with two holes left to play in his second round.

The completion of 36-holes (Round Two) tomorrow will determine the 54th Southern Junior Champion.
