JOHNSON, AR (July 17, 2025) – Round Two results of the 119th Southern Amateur Championship of the Southern Golf Association hosted by Blessings Golf Club in Johnson, Arkansas on Thursday, July 17, 2025 ( 7586 yards, par 36-36–72, 78.8/155).

Garrett Endicott of San Antonio, Texas shot an impressive five-under par 67 for round two to put him at an overall score of nine-under par 135. Endicott fired six birdies today to climb from second to first and to put him two shots ahead. 

When asked about his performance today, Endicott expressed the importance of “being patient and waiting for your opportunities” especially at a course like Blessings and that he is going to try to keep the same mentality through the third round, tomorrow. 

After making a birdie on fifteen and having a great shot on seventeen, he expressed that he was able to obtain momentum to work his way through his final nine of the day. 

Round One leader, Sihan Sandhu of Ashburn, Virginia, stands second with a round two score of one-over par 73. Overall, he is seven-under par 137. 

Ethan Evans of Mercer Island, Washington and Jay Mendell of Lafayette, Louisiana sit T3, each posting overall scores of five-under par 139. 

The following players stand T5, all posting four-under par 137 overall: 

• Wells Williams of West Point, Mississippi
• Mitchell Ford of Little Rock, Arkansas
• Taishi Moto of Japan 

The field was cut to the low 50 and ties. The cutline fell at three-under par 147 with 57 players advancing to the final two rounds of the 119th Southern Amateur Championship.
