EATONTON, GA (June 17, 2021) - Second Round results of the 49th Southern Junior Championship of the Southern Golf Association hosted by Great Waters at Reynolds Lake Oconee, in Eatonton, GA, on Thursday, June 17, 2021 (7128 yards, par 36–36–72, 74.6/141).
Championship Links
Overnight leader, Jack Roberts of Saint Marys, GA, maintains his lead through Round Two of the 49th Southern Junior Championship to hold his position atop the leaderboard. Firing five-under-par 67 for Round Two, Roberts leads the tournament by six strokes.
Ryan Davidson of Flowery Branch, GA stands second carding three-under-par 69 for the round.
Aidan Cohl of Cumming, GA and Reed Lotter of Savannah, GA stand T3, posting three-under-par 141 for the tournament. Cohl finished Round Two four-under-par 68. Lotter finished the day one-over-par 73.
The cut line fell at five-over-par 149, with 70 players remaining in the field for the final round of the Championship.

Format:
The field of 156 players will play 54 holes of individual stroke play. The field will be cut to the low 66 players and ties after 36 holes. The lowest score for 54 holes will be the Champion. In the event of a tie for the overall Championship only, a hole-by-hole playoff will be held immediately following play. The playoff holes and their order of play will be determined by the Rules Committee. Initial groupings will be for two days; the field will be cut and regrouped by score for the third round based on second round results.

Entries are open to any male amateur golfer who has a current Handicap Index® not exceeding 5.4 under the World Handicap System as of the close of entries and has reached his 14th birthday by June 16, 2021, but not his 19th birthday by June 18, 2021.
